Encouraging Tinubu to Follow Atiku's Alma Mater Visit

Activist Aisha Yesufu Challenges Tinubu to Emulate Atiku’s Alma Mater Visit”

Aisha Yesufu, a prominent political activist, has called upon President Bola Tinubu to follow in the footsteps of former Vice President and PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar by visiting his alma mater.

In response to a post by the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday via X, Yesufu challenged Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, urging him to encourage Tinubu to visit his alma mater as well.

Atiku’s visit to his alma mater in Jada, Adamawa State, where he provided scholarships to underprivileged students, was shared through a video on social media. Atiku wrote: “Nostalgic. Today, I returned to where it all started. My Alma Mater, Central Primary School, Jada. – AA”

Reacting to this development, Yesufu posted on X, questioning the absence of Tinubu’s Special Adviser and urging a focus on persuading Chief Tinubu to visit his own alma mater. She also mentioned her husband’s participation in a recent secondary school reunion.

It’s worth noting that President Tinubu’s academic history was a subject of debate before and after the 2023 elections, with claims regarding his attendance or non-attendance at primary and secondary schools in Nigeria.
