Fubara Inks Deal for 20,000 Housing Units Construction

Over the weekend, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara signed memoranda of understanding with two companies, initiating the construction of 20,000 low-cost housing units and a spare parts market in the state. The RIV/TAF City Housing Project, spanning 1000 hectares, will address the housing needs of low-income earners. The spare parts market agreement aims to establish a centralized hub for vehicle-related businesses. The state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor, signed for the state, and Mr. Mustapha Njie represented TAF Africa Global. The governor emphasized the commitment to expanding the city’s infrastructure, addressing housing challenges, and fulfilling campaign promises to develop a modern spare parts market. Fubara urged swift project commencement, emphasizing the importance of providing hope and opportunities for the people. TAF Africa Global and GOSH Project Limited pledged dedication to delivering the housing units and spare parts market, respectively.
